As you have probably already understood, we are the direct importers - we buy 99% of the articles directly from the actual producers that we have found and personally selected. We're not going to bore you with discussion about the 'the right percentage' or  'fair trade' as we are not a 'no-profit organization' but we are just two people that fell in love with Mexico and put a lot of passion in what they do. Of course we both hate infinite negotiations (the arab style) and so prefer to ask you to pay slightly more money, then ask the produsers themselves to  lower their price too much (sorry about that...). Usually, after they have set their 'second price' we decide then and there whether to buy or not to. We would like, in a future, to contribute more to the local communities, now we'll just have to see how the situation develops.

We didn't choose to favour any specific level of artistic quality over another, so you can find a wide range of articles from the cheaper to much more expensive. The only guiding principle is our taste (and our finance, of course). 

All articles are recent or new, any old or antique item will be signed.

Our articles so far come from these states: Estado de Mexico, Guerrero, Guanajuato, Chiapas, Veracruz, Oaxaca, Michoacan, Jalisco, Nayarit, Puebla.
