The Second World - jbs

Acording to huichol cosmogony, three worlds exist, forming a full human body: the first one, the beginning of the world is from the waist down; the second, the one we are living in and where the Gods scatter the seeds of life so that everything can be born, it goes from the waist up to the neck; the third one is in the head, where the spirit and the energy live. In this work by the Master José Benitez Sanchez, we can see Tamatsi, the Deer God, and Watakame, the mythical ancestor, taveling across the world in a canoe, scattering the seeds of life.
